Are you tired?
Do you snore?
Does your family suffer?
Sleep apnoea affects an estimated 2.5 million Australians, yet studies show up to 80% of cases are undiagnosed.
OUR PURPOSE

At Sleep.Affect, we offer a streamlined, patient-friendly path to overcoming sleep related breathing difficulties, removing the stress of multiple referrals, extra appointments, and unnecessary lab visits. Our goal is to make initial sleep assessments simple, accessible, and comfortable with direct access for patients to oral sleep devices.
We provide an at-home diagnostic sleep test, allowing you to complete a study in your own bed rather than in a hospital or sleep-lab environment. Once all the required information is gathered, we create a personalised treatment plan tailored to your specialist provided diagnosis, lifestyle, and needs. This may include a custom-made oral appliance, which is far more precise and effective than a generic mouthguard, or another solution deemed appropriate for your personal situation.
From your first consultation to your final follow-up, every step is managed by our team. We handle the diagnosis, appliance design and fabrication, fittings, adjustments, and ongoing support. This full-service approach eliminates the initial need to coordinate between GPs, sleep specialists, dentists, and sleep laboratories, saving you time, reducing stress, and ensuring continuity of care.
WHAT PATIENTS CAN EXPECT
When you choose Sleep.Affect, you receive a easy to use home-based sleep test that is comfortable, convenient, and far less daunting than an overnight stay in a clinical sleep facility. You receive a specialist report and diagnosis and a management plan which is tailored specifically to you, and if oral appliance therapy is recommended, you are provided with a meticulously crafted device that fits your teeth with precision and is designed for long-term comfort and effectiveness.
Throughout your treatment, you remain supported by a single point of contact. We provide ongoing adjustments, regular reviews, and continuous monitoring to ensure optimal comfort, proper jaw alignment, and lasting effectiveness. Our commitment extends beyond the initial treatment phase, offering long-term maintenance and dental health oversight so your appliance continues to perform at its best.

WHY WE USE WATCHPAT
WatchPat is highly accurate, easy to use and comfortable to wear. It provides 3 data collecting contact points via small, easy to wear sensors to ensure accuracy on the finger, wrist and chest.
Apnoea-Hypopnoea Index (AHI) and Respiratory Disturbance Index (RDI) is accurately calculated by WatchPat using the patient’s true Total Sleep Time rather than the recorded time used in most commercially available Home Sleep Studies.
WatchPAT’s validated sleep staging, which detects wake, light sleep, deep sleep, and REM, provides information on sleep architecture. It also provides the added value of detecting REM related sleep apnoea with REM and non-REM AHI.
